Silicon Valley Funding News - Week of November 15, 2021. Applied Intuition Raised $175M Series D

Hello again from sunny Lisbon!

This past week, I stayed in Lisbon and joined almost 3000 Solana developers. Thank you Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal for letting me witness how you built up from nothing to now a $68B market cap rocket ship. It was a big moment for Solana and me.  It's surreal to see how Solana has now reached over $14B locked on the chain in DeFi protocols, $1.3B of NFT's have been minted, and over 1000 new ecosystem with over $2B in VC funding poured into the ecosystem.  

Over 16% of the U.S. adults say they personally have invested in, traded or otherwise used one, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. I think this asset class is here to stay. 

Workflow analytics is a big theme for enterprise investment this past week with $185M pouring into this space.  The global workforce analytics market is expected to reach USD 1.87 billion by 2025 (Grandview research).  And thanks to Meta/Facebook, VR/AR startups are making a comeback with $45M in funding this past week.
