Discord teases Web3 integration… and sinks the ship

The founder of Discord, Jason Citron, recently tweeted a screenshot, hinting of a possible integration for crypto wallets like Metamask. This immediately received an expected wave of backlash. A few days after, he tweets that there are no plans to ship the teased feature. “Probably nothing,” and indeed, it was.

Twitter builds team dedicated to crypto

From having a tip feature where anyone can copy your Ethereum or Bitcoin address, to releasing NFTs earlier this year, Twitter is taking another step on integrating Web3 to its platform. Engineer Tess Rinearson announced that they’ll be leading the team, and shares their goals on how they’ll go about the project.

Canva launches their own video editor

Graphic design app, Canva, is now diving in on video! You can now edit videos through their app, where you can use any of their pre-made templates, stock photos, and music. As always, you can do this on your computer, tablet, or phone through their app, for free!
