⭐️ Spotify finally rolls out real-time lyrics to global users

Spotify announced it will make a new Lyrics feature available to all global users, both Free and Premium, across platforms. The feature is powered by lyrics provider Musixmatch, and expands on a prior deal Spotify had with the company to offer lyrics to users in India, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

⭐️ Spotify Has Tried Being Netflix. Now It Wants to Be YouTube.

Many podcasters want to be Joe Rogan, and Spotify would like to help them do it. Spotify announced a new tool earlier this month that will allow podcast creators to upload video recordings of their shows.

⭐️ Top Playlist Curator Ned Monahan Leaving Spotify

Ned Monahan, Spotify’s head of global hits and overseer of several of the platforms top playlists, is leaving the company, a rep confirmed to Variety. His next move has not been made public, although Hits, which first reported the news, says that he’s going to an unspecified start-up label.

⭐️ Spotify acquires Findaway to ‘revolutionize the audiobook space’

In August, Spotify rolled out paid podcast subscriptions to US podcast creators and says that it plans to expand the monetisation tool globally.
