301: How Raj Sheth Went from Growing to Buying SaaS Companies

In 2020, Raj acquired a SaaS company called FlyData. He turned the business around and sold it a year later for a 3X return on his investment.

But it took a long time for Raj to have that kind of success. His first two SaaS companies failed. He had better success with his third attempt and eventually sold that business, but it took seven years to get to multiple 7-figures in ARR.

In this episode, we deep-dive into the lessons Raj learned building that SaaS business and how he used SEO, paid media, directory listings etc. to grow.

We also talk about how Raj finds early-stage SaaS companies that might be worth acquiring and his plan for building those businesses.
