So here’s the thing about NFTs. At its very core, there’s an underlying technology here that’s pretty important and could be the future of how online activity works. No, honestly, the tech beneath NFTs isn’t a scam.

But I’m not going to say the same about NFT art being sold left, right, and center. I’m sure some people are making money, but a lot more will lose in the process. Why is why, sigh, it saddens me to say YouTube may get in on the NFT craze. And you better believe YouTube’s CEO came up for some pretty-sounding reasons on why. (Just don’t believe those reasons.)
