Power BI Weekly #142 - 1st February 2022
Power BI Weekly Newsletter Issue #142
powered by endjin
Welcome to the 142nd edition of Power BI Weekly! A few updates this week, the first being the Power BI Report Server January 2022 Feature Summary with some of the recent bookmark updates landing, along with with some of the DAX updates that landed a couple of months ago for "mainstream" Power BI Desktop. We've also been given a reminder that WebView2 will be required for the next Power BI Desktop release, and we've been told how to Optimize your Processes and Gain Deep Insights with Process Mining, which isn't directly related to Power BI (other than the fact it utilizes Power BI Embedded), but it's a pretty cool feature to know about nonetheless.
Elsewhere this week, Reza Rad has reminded us how we can achieve a Power BI Sandbox: An Environment to Learn Power BI Service for Free, Matija Kocevar has written a detailed post about How to choose the correct chart type for your Power BI report and Adam Saxton has described How Parameters work with the Power BI Paginated Visual.
