Tip of the Day

A razor scraper isn’t just for getting paint off windows, it’s handy for scraping things off any hard and flat surface (like bathroom tiles or stovetop enamel).

Happy Monday! I hope everybody had a great weekend and is ready to tackle the week. On the matter of tackling the week, if you work from home you’ll want to check out our top picks for items under $50 that’ll make your home office comfier.

It’s the start of the week so of course, we have everything new coming to Netflix this week. This particular show isn’t new, but this weekend I started watching the crime-parody Fallet on Netflix. It’s a very dry humor take on the whole detectives-investigating-a-serial-killer genre. Except the detectives are absolutely incompetent. Worth a look if you like that genre and want to check out a funny take on it.

Relevant to today’s date: here’s the history of Valentine’s Day. It’s definitely not about chocolates and paper hearts and very much about odd ancient rituals. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, did you know dark chocolate is a good source of magnesium? Worried you’re not getting enough? We have the scoop on magnesium supplementation.

And water cooler trivia? You know we have some. On this day in 2005 the founders of YouTube, Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, registered the domain YouTube.com. By the time the site officially launched later that year in December, it was already serving millions of videos a day and the rest is history.

One of the most popular is magnesium, which is marketed to help with digestion, nerve function, and sleep. But can it really do all (or any) of that, and do you need to take it? Read More »
