Mighty Knowledge - Growing without setting goals
Hi friend.
For a while now, I've been looking for a way to clearly articulate my style of "goal setting". This article sums it up quite well: Growth Without Goals.
In summary, goals are really hard to set. You never know what will happen tomorrow: your circumstances may change, you could develop different likes and dislikes, you might even find that your personality evolves over time. Thus, a better way to grow is to focus on your low-level actions. Just do great things that you think will help you grow in the long run:
- Have healthy habits
- Avoid vices
- Learn something new
- Exercise
- Spend time with family
- Smile more
If you can do positive things like that every day, then you will naturally form a successful life.
Have an awesome day!
George
