5840RUSSIAN troops have been killed according to latest Ukrainian estimates. They are also reported to have lost 221 tanks, 31 helicopters, 30 aircraft, 85 artillery systems, 862 armored personnel carriers, 355 vehicles, 60 fuel tanks, 40 multiple launch rocket systems, and nine anti-aircraft systems. 

311UKRANIAN tanks and other armoured military vehicles have reportedly been destroyed by Russia. Further this they have reportedly lost 42 airplanes and helicopters, 51 multiple launch rocket systems, 147 field artillery weapons and mortars, and 263 specialised military vehicles.

80%OF 150 troops that Russia has massed along Ukraine’s borders have already crossed into Ukraine since the invasion began Thursday.

660kUKRANIAN citizens have now fled the country according to the UN. An additional 98k fled to Poland on Tuesday taking their refugee total to 450k.

21PEOPLE have been killed and another 112 injured after Russian shelling in the mostly Russian speaking city of Kharkiv. Russian paratroopers entered Ukraine’s second city in the early hours attacking a military hospital before airstrikes targeted police, state agencies and the security service.

$4bnWORTH of Russian oil and gas operations are being abandoned by ExxonMobil and the company has halted new investments in the country where it has more than 1000 employee’s; it comes after similar moves by BP, Shell and Equinor. Meanwhile, the world's biggest plane maker Boeing said it is suspending operations in Russia.

60mBARRELS of oil will be released from stockpiles by a 31 strong group of major oil consumers known as the International Energy Agency in the hope of stabilising markets. Russia produces more than 60m barrels every 6 days.

2STATE OWNED media channels in Russia - RT (Russia Today) and Sputnik - have been banned by YouTube throughout Europe. YouTube's move follows European Union officials saying they are "banning Russia Today and Sputnik from broadcasting" in the EU.
