Andrea Wenglowskyj

"Some of the most magnificent and important things you can do in your life are also the most challenging."

When she was growing up in New York, photographer Andrea Wenglowskyj practiced many traditions preserved by the Ukrainian diaspora, from embroidery and folk dancing to Saturday language school and a patriotic youth scouting camp. But she knew Ukraine’s young democracy was not the same country her grandparents fled in the 1940s. So Wenglowskyj decided to spend a year in Ukraine interviewing artists and arts organizations, tracking down her mother’s childhood home, and telling stories with her camera that only she could tell. Watch Andrea Wenglowskyj’s gorgeous photographic talk for CreativeMornings/Buffalo and attend to the serendipitous moments that cross your path.

Did you know that the 19th century French novelist Victor Hugo is a cautionary tale for procrastination? You need not go to such extreme measures to manage your time. Explore Harvest’s timeless tips for developing time management skills to get your workload under control and maintain your work-life balance.
