Who owns commercial aircraft? It’s not (usually) the airlines.

A fair defense of the game Factorio (article)

I played about 60 seconds of Factorio and moved on. I haven’t played games seriously in about 15 years so the odds that I’d just pick up Factorio and jump right back in were small.

That said, the article makes a good case for why playing the game could ultimately be productive for you, and even for your company and its employees.

At first glance I thought this was just a debate about semantics.

But it turns out a lot companies grow linear-y for most (and sometimes, all!) of their lives.

Now - sometimes that linear coefficient is 2 or 3 or 4 - so the growth can be steep.

But sometimes it’s the same amount of new customers every year - as the case with Dropbox, Lyft, and others.
