The RECC’E - DAY 94 | APR 04 | GOODBYE

A big thank you from The RECC’E. We hope you’ve enjoyed the news delivered a little differently…………..

Day 94 / 365

110DAYS AGO I started The Recc’e with the aim of delivering news a little differently by focusing on the numbers and data behind the stories. However today is our final issue.

RECC’E OF THE DAY

102DAILY ISSUES later I still have as much love for creating The Recc’e as I did back in December 21 when it launched however due to a change in personal circumstances, I can no longer give it the time it deserves.

NEED-TO-KNOW

2.2k+STATISTICS and data points have been delivered overall and we hope these have been interesting and informative.

125NUMBER loving stat heads signed up join me on this crazy experiment and I’ve met some amazing people along the way.

SHOULD-KNOW

59%AVERAGE open rate across all 102 editions showed a really loyal and engaged audience and I cannot thank you all enough.  With an industry average open rate for a daily newsletter being sub 25%, I really do appreciate you guys.

66%OF YOU ‘read often’ and 29% read ‘sometimes’ and even to the 5% who ‘never’ really read it, I thank you for giving us a try and trusting us with a place in your inbox.

GOOD-TO-KNOW

83%OF YOU opened your emails in a browser with the remaining opening on mobile - I always assumed the primary reading environment would be mobile but every day is a school day.

3806INDIVIDUAL emails were sent overall by The Recc’e and our aim was to be objective, educational and interesting; if you take away even 1 piece of new knowledge from your time with us then we’ll be happy.

SIGN-OFF STAT

1THING I can promise is that this is not the last thing I’ll publish, I’ll be working in the background to create new and exciting things to bring into the world and if you’d ever like to hear about them feel free to stay subscribed and ill let you know when I do.

But from me I just wanted to say thank you for your time, stay curious, keep an open mind and keep on learning.
