How to find high-paying clients TODAY – 4 tools and templates

Most agencies don't know how to find their next contract.

Even fewer know how to do it quickly.

This can make building a pipeline frustrating.

But it can be a lot simpler.

In fact, you can set aside 5 minutes right now to generate high-quality leads by this evening.

Here's how:

1. Email all your past clients (and leads)

This is the fastest way to land a new contract.

Past clients (and even leads) already know you.

Chances are if they've bought or needed your services in the past, they will again in the future.

All it takes is being in their inbox and keeping the relationship warm.

Here's how to do that:

“Hi [Client Name],

Happy Wednesday. How’s everything at [Business]? Anything I can do to help?”

That's it.

Client's love it when an agency owner is there for them.

Touch base with any client you haven't talked in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

I've seen this generate five and six figure contracts again and again.

But what if you don't have any clients?

2. Join a Slack group with an active #jobs channel

Slack communities are where a lot of people go to when they need a referral.

In fact, hundreds of Slack communities have built-in channels for this exact reason.

Just remember, don't spam.

The point of this Slack strategy is to build authentic relationships.

Wait for the right opportunity to come along, then go for it.

3. Follow up with OLD leads over email

Most RFPs and job posts get tons of responses in the first few days of a job being posted.

But very few companies hire that quickly.

Sometimes despite a lead looking old, the company is still very much hiring.

If you reach out you can often start a conversation and be the only candidate left in the process.

Here's a quick template you can use:

“Hi [Client Name],

I saw you were looking for an agency to [X] about a month ago. Are you still the right person to talk to about this?”

4. Send someone you respect a referral today
