Last year, I took an electronic brand's email marketing.

From $21,988/mo to $236,078/mo

In less than three weeks, I 10x'ed their revenue.

Here's how I did it...

When I first got in touch with this brand

They were using Hubspot and didn't have an email marketing strategy. (aside from an abandoned cart email and an embedded form at the footer)

So the first thing I did was transition from Hubspot to K
laviyo.

Then I started working on their lead collection mechanism.

In this case, I used 1 desktop pop-up and 1 mobile pop-up, popping up 6 seconds after page load.

Offering a 10% OFF in exchange for a name and email


Simple.

After that, I crafted the 3 core flows:

- welcome flow

- abandoned cart flow

- post-purchase flow


Welcome Flow

Email 1: Give bait

Email 2: Introduces the brand

Email 3: Promote best sellers

Email 4: Value + Remind people about the code

Email 5: Code + Urgency


Abandoned Cart:

Email 1: Remind about the item left in the cart ( direct to the point)

Email 2: Address objections, show social proof and warranties

Email 3: Incentivize the purchase with a code

Email 4: Code reminder + urgency



Post Purchase:

Email 1: Thank you (Message from the Founder)

Email 2: Give value related to the items purchased

Email 3: Promote up-sell or cross-sell

Email 4: Code + urgency related to the upsells or cross-sells

Email 5: Ask for review for UGC content


I set these 3 flows live first cause I had the urgency to start taking advantage of the SEO and paid ad traffic that was coming to the store (about 25k daily visitors)

However... After setting up these core flows, I set up these other flows.

- Browse abandonment

- VIP Flow

- Winback Flow


When I was done setting up the flows, I started the campaign sending strategy...

I had to start from scratch.

Cause even though they had a huge list (100k+ subs) they were not sending any campaigns at all

I started warming up the list by sending campaigns to tiny engaged segments and gradually expanding the segmentation


After the warm-up was done,  I started sending 5 emails per week to 3 main segments.

- Engaged

- Purchasers

- Winback


I crafted specific content for each audience's needs and wants

Which helped me resonate with each recipient and increase conversions

Take a look at the KPI's That click rate looking juicy, right?

 
And that's it

This is what I did to attribute half of this client's revenue to my email strategies.
