SEO Chatter - SEO word count demystified
There's no shortage of people asking "What's the best word count for SEO?"
It seems like every Facebook group and Reddit post is full of people looking for the magic number to write the perfect blog post length, product overview page, rankable news article, or whatever kind of content their publishing on their website.
I was like that too when I first started out in this biz: obsessed with SEO word count specifics.
If you've ever wondered this same thing Reader, then today's post will satisfy your curiosity.
While I typically aim for at least 1,000 words for every SEO Chatter blog post, there are some minimum—and best—standards you should follow for specific types of content like I mentioned above. For example, a product overview page can have a much different length than a typical blog post and still be long enough to hit the top of Google.
But here's the kicker...
Word count is just one part of the ranking puzzle. Your content also has to meet a few other crucial standards to reach the top positions on Google for your target keywords. All of which you'll discover in today's post.
