Before you Trade Today: Know the Economic Calendar! Also See This Weeks Most Anticipated Earnings. NEVER BE SURPRISED BY EASILY ANTICIPATED MARKET BREAKING NEWS. That’s our goal here.

This weeks analyst expectations for all the most market moving news are below. Indeed this week is kind of an off week. ECONOMIC DATA THIS WEEK:

• ISM MANUFACTURING PMI: The ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index is a monthly gauge of the level of economic activity in the manufacturing sector in the United States versus the previous month. Analyst consensus is 52 for July, Down from 53 from June. Data will be reported Today at 10:00am ET.

• JOLT JOB OPENEINGS JUNE: The job openings and labor turnover survey (JOLTS) is a monthly report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics that counts job vacancies & separations, including the number of workers voluntarily quitting employment. Analyst consensus for June is 11 million openings (down from 11.254m in May) & the data will be reported on Tuesday 10:00am ET.

• ISM NON-MANUFACTURING PMI: The ISM Non-Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) is calculated as an indicator of the overall economic condition for the non-manufacturing sector. Analyst consensus for July is 53.5, down from 55.3 in June. Data will be reported on Wednesday 10:00am ET.

• BALANCE OF TRADE: The Balance of trades measures U.S. exports minus imports for an overall value as to whether income is coming into the country (positive) or leaving (negative). This data is important because net imports-exports are an essential indicator of GDP along with consumer spending, investment, & government spending. Analyst consensus is -$80.1b for June, up from -$85.5b for May. This data will be reported 8:30am ET on Thursday.

• UNEMPLOYMENT RATE & NON-FARM PAYROLLS: July unemployment is expected to come in at 3.6%, same as June. Non-Farm Payrolls are expected to come in at 250k, down from 372k in June (Which is what we want to see … a lower number). Both will be reported at 8:30am ET Friday.

WORLD MARKETS:

• Stock futures fall to start August trading with market coming off best month since 2020

• European markets set to kick off August trading with a mixed open

• Mainland China markets rise after private survey shows Chinese factory activity grew slightly
