One of the most used apps on my phone is — believe it or not — Snapchat. I know, I know. Snapchat is definitely not as popular as it used to be. But what can I say? Sending snaps has always felt like a more intimate way for me to stay in touch with friends.

Still, I’m always down to try out new platforms and apps, which is why I loved reading Tami’s article on these 8 new social media sites. From Linkedin rival Polywork to the Snapchat adjacent app BeReal, these platforms are definitely worth checking out. After all, there was once a time when TikTok — first known as Musical.ly — wasn’t a household name.

Also on the blog this week, Tami wrote a helpful article on the best times to post on Instagram so your content doesn’t get lost in the algorithm.
