Hi there,

I’m delighted to announce that Yahoo has acquired The Factual, allowing us to bring the credible news you have enjoyed to millions of readers worldwide. This will help us have the kind of impact we always envisioned: to help the public trust news sources again by giving them all the facts so they can reach their own conclusions.

You can read more about this announcement in this blog.

So, what does this mean for you?

The Factual will continue as is, and you will continue to enjoy the same service across all our products, including the newsletter, app, and website. And if you have any feedback, you can continue to write to me and I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.

From a legal standpoint, use of our products will now be governed by Yahoo’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, both of which have been updated on The Factual’s website, Mobile App and Newsletter.

Finally, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for the faith you showed in The Factual, the patience you had as we made mistakes, and the feedback and support you offered every time we needed it. We could not have built The Factual without you and for that I want to thank you on behalf of me, Ajoy, and the rest of The Factual team.

Sincerely,

Arjun Moorthy, co-founder The Factual
