Main Street Insiders - The Story Behind Uyghur Genocide
We've established that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) wants to rule the world. The key to world dominance is controlling the Heartland. And the Uyghurs aren't just going to roll over and let China take the Heartland. You might've never heard of the Uyghurs before. And if you have, you probably don't know much about them. Here are the basics. The CCP is committing genocide against millions of Uyghur Muslims. It should be one of the biggest news stories in the world, but the news barely talks about it. The CCP's beef with the Uyghurs goes back thousands of years. We're going to help tell their story. You might not think it affects you. You might not believe it's that big of a deal. It is. In the 1930s, many Americans didn't realize that Holocaust was a big deal until it was too late. Let's not make that same mistake again. Because in some ways, we're enabling the Uyghur genocide to happen. We'll explain how and what we can do to stop it. But before we start, if you haven't read our cleverly titled article, China Wants To Rule The World, stop what you're doing, click that link, and give it a read. We'll wait... No seriously, you should read it… Okay. Now let's dive in. All Roads Run Through XinjiangIf China wants the Heartland so badly, what's stopping them? For starters, no empire has ever been able to control the entire area. The UK, Russia, France, and even the US have all tried and failed. That's why there's always war in the Middle East. Thank you so much for reading the Main Street Insiders newsletter! If you want to learn more about the CCP’s plans to dominate the world, listen to our interview with former Green Beret and America First congressional candidate Joe Kent.
But China is using a different type of warfare. Instead of conquering the Heartland with traditional combat, they're doing it with One Belt, One Road. It's a multi-trillion dollar series of infrastructure projects linking the World Island. And it's paid for with Chinese loans, many to economically distressed countries. So when those countries can't pay China back, China gets control of the infrastructure. As we've discussed, that's why Afghanistan is so important. So are Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and a few others that link Europe and Asia. China is expanding its influence in these areas. Railways have underpinned Russia’s clout in the region, but the balance of power is shifting. China sees an opening to expand its influence and diversify trade routes to Europe But to get to the Heartland, China has to go through Xinjiang, a so-called autonomous region on its eastern border. Take a look at the map: Unfortunately for the CCP, Uyghurs live in Xinjiang and are unwilling to give up their land. This Land Is Our LandUyghur history is a disputed subject. If you're pro-China, you claim that Uyghurs are new to the area. If you're pro-Uyghur, you believe Uyghurs have lived in Xinjiang for thousands of years. We side with the Uyghurs. Even then, it's hard to nail down an exact Uyghur history. But most historians agree on a few things. First, the Uyghurs started moving to Xinjiang about 1,500 years ago (although Uyghurs would argue it was more like 3,000). Second, the Uyghurs aren't a single group of people. Instead, they're a broad collection of people with a few things in common. They're Muslim. They're Turkish (unlike China which is 90% Han Chinese). And they moved to Xinjiang to escape getting conquered. So they have a history of resisting empires that tried to control them. Thank you so much for reading the Main Street Insiders newsletter! Click the button below to head there now! That holds today. Han Chinese began moving to Xinjiang in the 1950s. What followed was a series of violent confrontations between Uyghurs and Han Chinese. So the CCP blamed the attacks on the Uyghurs and labeled them terrorists. We're sorry for making that sound like a history textbook. But unfortunately, it's the only way to explain their background. Here's the gist of what it all means: China needs to control Xinjiang, but the people who live there are of different ethnicity, speak a foreign language, have different customs, and refuse to cooperate. The Uyghur GenocideThe CCP's only solution is to remove the Uyghurs. So they've embarked on the worst genocide since World War 2. Their goal is to destroy the Uyghur people group. It starts by dragging Uyghurs out of their homes and sending them to concentration camps. Drone footage from northern China showing hundreds of Uyghur Muslims handcuffed and blindfolded waiting to be put on trains either going to 're-education' concentration camps or slave labour factories. Uyghurs can spend years inside these camps, where they're beaten, tortured, and raped. Their organs are harvested and sold online. Uyghur women are sterilized by force. And Uyghurs are forced to undergo horrific re-education rituals. Uyghur Muslim children in a 'boarding school' trained to chant 'Without the Communist Party, There Would be No New #China', a propaganda song. These children are brainwashed to adopt Chinese values & stripping them of their identity & religion.
#TheyAreNotNumber #Uyghurs #Uyghur Muslim women forced to remove their #Hijab and sing songs praising #China.
#Uyghurs #EastTurkestan #HearUyghurs #MuslimHolocaust #UyghurHolocaust The United Nations believes the CCP is holding as many as 1.5 million Uyghurs in concentration camps, and the actual number is potentially much higher. There are no gas chambers like the Nazis used during the Holocaust, at least not yet. But the CCP's goal is similar: to wipe out the Uyghur identity and force them to cooperate with the CCP's plans. Once released, Uyghurs are often forced to work in factories as slaves. And here's maybe the most disturbing part of this whole article: Uyghur slaves make some of our favorite products, potentially including iPhones and Nikes. When we buy these products, we're enabling the Uyghur genocide. But that means we also have the power to help stop it. In our next article, we'll explain what you can do to help put an end to the Uyghur genocide. This is the way. God bless and God bless America, -Jeff and Luke |
