My company Seis is growing its customer support team

I’ve been learning about queuing theory - can any of you help build me a model for an M/M/k system?

My use case is I want to be able to tell how customer support response times change if we hire X # of new reps, decrease ticket service time by Y, etc.

If you know anything about the French Revolution you know this guy was basically dictator for a year & was in charge of the Terror.

I thought he was way more interesting when I was reading about the French Revolution in general. Reading about him specifically left me less impressed - he seemed like an ideologue who’d be at the head of the woke mob today.

The Year of Fukuyama (article)

I don’t agree with everything in here (or in anything I like to) but this was fantastic. He basically says China & Russia were the two main ideological threats to American liberalism, and in the last 2 years both have showed that they are governance dead ends.

“Although we have three months left, I think that regardless of what else happens 2022 will be notable for being the year that both of these threats [China & Russia] to liberal democracy collapsed. And the fact that they collapsed in such different ways indicates that there is something extremely robust in Western societies that will allow them to dominate the world for the foreseeable future.”
