Jessica Buchleitner

Dive into what makes you curious. Don't skim the top of things. Go deep.”

At a time when information is more abundantly available than ever and yet truth and reality are bitterly contested, Jessica Buchleitner’s talk for CreativeMornings/Munich could not be more timely. Buchleitner is an author and journalist who focuses on how the internet and its portending technologies intersect with systemic cultural, societal, and policy issues. She explains how this age of abundant information is really an information economy, where the commodity is human attention and content competes in marketplaces for the highest bidders. Under this system, we’re encouraged to consume information the way we snack — digesting bite-sized pieces in the form of reels and memes, rather than diving deep. Watch Jessica Buchleitner’s illuminating talk and learn how to create and present stories with depth.
