Dear CreativeMornings community,

We have arrived at our last newsletter issue of the year! We’re so excited to see what 2023 will bring in the form of renewal and growth, and how we might begin to trace the new ways CreativeMornings is showing up in the world.

But we want to take a moment to look back and thank you for the sweetness of this year. If you attended a local chapter event, joined us to learn something new on a FieldTrip, walked with us during the World Wide Wander, or shared a link from this newsletter with a friend, you’ve made our universe gleam a bit more brightly. You have our unending gratitude.

If there was a particular moment you savored with us this year, hit reply and let us know! We’ll add it to our highlights jar of 2022.

💗 With all our love,
Tina, Angelica, Casey, Amanda, Alexa, Krista, Ann, Kyle, and Annie at CreativeMornings HQ

P.S. Two things we’d love your help with before the year ends:
  • We’d love to know how you interpret January’s Sanctuary theme! If you have a submission, share it here
  • Our Global Survey deadline has been extended to January 6. If you have a quiet moment this season, could you fill it out and share some of your experiences with us?

A Ritual for Reflection

Are you craving for a way to reflect on the past year? Marie Poulin offers some inspiration. Ever since 2016, she and her husband have been writing down their daily highlights. On New Year’s Eve, they revisit all of their highlights from across the year. It’s a chance to celebrate the things they do every day and look back on memories in gratitude.

If this is a ritual you’re interested in starting, you can collect highlights in an analogue way (as Marie did for many years, with just paper strips in a jar). Or you can use a digital tool like Notion. Marie shows how you can log your highlights in a customizable database and share it with your partner, family, or even work team — she’s created a free template for our readers to use too. What will go into your highlights "jar" today?
