Negative ROI to $31 per lead (+template)
Nowadays, it looks like every niche provides negative ROI when selling directly to cold leads.
Now you need to get leads first, warm them up, and only after that, sell them.
The question is - how to warm-up?
Jon Shumacher does it through webinars.
His results:
1. A 48% show-up rate.
2. $13,420 in sales from just one webinar.
Here are the main tricks (= template you can use) that help him to achieve these results...
Pre-Webinar:
1. He promotes his webinar (benefits, why-s, what-s, study, tips) every day via email 5 days before the webinar begins.
2. Reminders for a webinar go out at 24 hours, 6 hours, 3 hours, 1 hour, and 15 minutes prior to the webinar going live.
3. On a "Thank you page" after registration for the webinar he shows a short 5-minute promo video + asks to add the webinar to their calendar now.
4. He retargets those who register on Facebook.
Webinar:
1. Introduction. No one believes your success until they have heard your struggle.
2. Content:
2.1. Start with a question
2.2. Ask the audience to type their answer into the chat
2.3. Break the belief and teach the main content point.
2.4. Use a story or case study to reinforce the content point.
3. Transition. Remind people they are still stuck at point A and want to get to point B (which is the outcome they want from your offer).
4. Offer:
4.1. Offer your product as a solution to get them the results you talked about in your content section much faster, without as much wasted time and money.
4.2. Tie features to benefits.
4.3. Bonuses.
4.4. A strong guarantee.
4.5. Case studies to answer the question, ”Will this work for me?”
5. Q&A:
5.1. When answering, he points back to his product as a solution for all questions that are relevant.
60% of his live webinar sales came during the Q&A.
Post-Webinar:
This phase 2x webinar sales.
He sends this email follow-up sequence for attendees who didn’t buy (one email per day):
Email 1: Takeaways-Reviewing
Email 2: Why Most Solutions Will Fail You and Why This is Different
Email 3: Case For/Case Against
Email 4: Case Studies
Email 5: FAQ/Objections
Email 6: 24 hours until close
Email 7: 4 emails: 12 hours until close + 6 hours + 3 hours + 1 hour
Results:
Total Revenue: $13,420
Value Per Registration: $31.07
This "hack" is not short, but it's so sweet and structured that I decided not to cut it in pieces. Hope you like it.
