Let's Get Clear on the True Meaning Behind The Death Tarot CardI still see a lot of confusion over it.I am sorry for my absence last week. I just started the Ozempic medication, and my energy levels have dropped, so I did a lot less last week than normal. However, it’s all good this week, and I want to talk about the Death tarot card. If you remember my old Swords of Depression podcast, I did a whole show on the Death tarot card. Here is the link to it. I also recently wrote another piece about it on my Tarot Talk publication on Medium about the Death tarot card: No, The Death Tarot Card Does Not Mean You Will Die and I had a contributor to my publication write something amazing about the Death card this morning: 3 Reasons Not To Fear The Death Card Therefore, there is a lot of information about the Death tarot card. The gist is that in rare circumstances, it means literal death. However, more often than not, it means transformation, and it can mean endings. For example, if you feel insecure in your relationship and believe it won’t last, then you are likely right. However, getting the Death tarot card regarding that confirms what you are sensing all along. When Does The Death Tarot Card Mean Literal Death? The only time the Death tarot card comes up is when it regards someone already terminal or dying of old age and on their last days. As I mentioned in my article on Medium, back in 2020, my grandmother passed on Halloween (not COVID-19 related, she was 97 and pretty much done). I did a tarot spread a few days before she passed to see her situation, and then the Death tarot card was there, staring at me. She was transitioning then. However, never, ever, ever trust a tarot reader that pulls the Death tarot card and says that you or someone close to you will die. That is unless you are asking about someone close to you who is terminal or dying of old age. However, if that is not the case, then don’t ever listen to a tarot reader that says that. What they are doing is entirely unethical and also shows they know nothing about tarot. It concerns me how many of these “readers” are lurking around. Particularly on TikTok. I figured I would talk about this today as I have been seeing a lot of confusion regarding this tarot card for obvious reasons. Have a great weekend.
