Read a Girl #49: “Fangs”, Sarah Andersen

Hi again :) 

This month I come with a short and sweet recommendation. Maybe to help you get closer to your reading goals (if you’re the type of person who sets reading goals - I’m not, but who knows?).

“Fangs” is a graphic novel by artist Sarah Andersen that tells the love story between an ancient, yet young, vampire and a dashing werewolf. I know it sounds silly, but it’s an endearing tale with beautiful gothic illustrations.

Sarah manages to give humanity to a relationship between two magical (maybe monstrous?) creatures and does so in a very humorous and witty way. An impossible love affair that just makes sense and can be relatable to many - even to those who are not in freakish relationships.
