Welcome to the 205th edition of Find That Pod

As always, welcome new subscribers!
---
I'm in the middle of revamping the look and feel of the Find That Pod brand and website. But along with that, I would like to post a few reviews from awesome readers like you.

If you have 1 minute to spare, please fill out this REVIEW FORM, and I might use your review on the new website.

Ok, now onto this week's newsletter:

SOCIETY & CULTURE

It's Nice to Hear You

A story about human connection told through a voice-forward matchmaking experiment. The twist: no names, no direct contact, no pictures. Over 30 days, matched pairs exchange one voice memo a day with each other. This genre-bending series has the intimacy of a personal memoir, suspense from a reality TV dating show, and insights from an interview show.

Yes, some pairs do end up in a relationship afterwards. Eavesdrop into their private conversations and hear how these strangers fall into like, reciprocate vulnerability, and develop intimacy. I truly love unique audio-listening experiences in the podcast spaces like this one.

Infinite Loops

Becoming a more nuanced thinker is never a bad thing. And that's why I'm including this podcast this week. In an era of uncertainty, the ability to think dynamically and avoid getting trapped in infinite loops of thought is more important than ever.

Whether discussing ancient Chinese philosophy, the history of finance, or cutting-edge advances in artificial intelligence, host Jim O'Shaughnessy’s passion, experience, and eclectic range of interests, combined with extensive research into each podcast guest, always results in surprising conversations which substantively engage each listener.

The Psych Effect

In The Psych Effect, Drs. Stephane Degraff & Dmitry Byk trade their white coats for t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers to unpack societal issues and human behaviour through the phenomenon of sports.

Commenting on everyday news with the intention of shedding light on the human behaviour in professional athletes, public figures, and newsmakers, they attempt to demystify the stigma attached to mental health. The struggle these public figures go through is put into context while maintaining an open discussion on the nexus between the human psyche and the demands of the ever-so-enormous sports industry and its impact on today’s society.

Earfuls of wisdom from podcasters around the world.
