Foundations of Email Copywriting

Which is easier to read? Short, snappy sentences like this one?

Or long, complex, elaborate sentences that may contain useful information, but can also be challenging to digest and difficult to unpack—like this one?

When possible, opt for short sentences in your email copy. This allows your subscribers to focus on your content, rather than unpacking your sentence structure.
