The Google Sheets Add-on was rejected.

Risky Course To Make

I've been making a Google Sheets add-on. And at the same time recording the process for a course.

It's a risky move but I think one that will pay off for you, because you get to watch over my shoulder as I make mistakes, and you'll know how to never even make the mistake in the first place.

And so I made a mistake. But it's not one you might normally think.

In fact, it's not a life or death mistake.

Simple Mistake

This Add-on was rejected for the single fact that my "detailed description" was not long enough.

There are two descriptions you have to write for the Google Workspace Marketplace. One is a short description and one is a long description. I wrote a 1 sentence description for both.

Everything is rejected

If your ego can't take rejection, I'd recommend not going through this process. Because all 5 of my previous add-ons I've gotten published all got rejected.

5 out of 5 rejections.

Make that 6 out of 6, if this Add-on ultimately does get accepted.

Resubmitted

But I have pushed on. Recorded the 27th video of the course about how to overcome this rejection and how it happens every time.

And so now the Editor Add-on I submitted is now re-submitted.
