Welcome to the 179th edition of the Play to Earn newsletter!

The summer of web3 gaming gets off to a quick start with plenty of alphas, playtests, and more!

Champions Ascension held their Old Sally event a couple of days ago, with numerous guilds and community groups striving to be the first to defeat this new Boss monster. It took only thirty minutes for someone to succeed, though there was still plenty of competition to earn some of the other achievement rewards!

Also this week we have a new season of First Explorers from Continuum World, bringing a new gathering mini-game and plot decorations to the world. In addition, Worlds Beyond launched an alpha preview, Ascenders began their City Simulation playtest, and Alterverse opened up a new beta phase of Sky City, with a bigger zone to explore and more activities!

And speaking of activities, some of the old-timer games are doing things too! Upland is finishing up their anniversary Genesis Week, which brought all sorts of new events and competitions to their community, and Alien Worlds releases MineQuest, a Minecraft-based tie-in to their NFT points system!

We also received a new quest system from Skyweaver, and details about their upcoming beta and planned release later this year from Heroes of Mavia!
