GrowthHackingIdea - Why 54% unsubscribe (and how to fix it)

Did you know that 54% of people unsubscribe because - Emails come too frequently.

Here are the solutions I use:
1. By default, I send emails twice a week.
2. For those who are really hungry for content - they can earn daily emails (by inviting friends, or by paying for access).
3. When I see a person doesn't open 3 emails in a row, I switch that person to the least frequent - weekly emails.

As a result:
1. Weekly/biweekly emails show ~30% open rates (28K subscribers).
2. Daily emails show ~50% open rates (1K subscribers).
3. Unsubscribe rate is ~2%/month.
