Web3 gaming took a hit this week as Neopets announced a shutdown of their web3-enabled Neopets Metaverse, and Star Atlas downsizes their development staff.

Everseed dropped a new a new alpha — one with an improved interface, a rudimentary battle pass system, and generative maps! MetalCore also opened up a new alpha with a PvP event. This alpha is open to all, no NFTs required!

Parallel is set to begin their closed beta, with new features and play to earn opportunities. We also have a series of play to mint events from Fableborne, offering players several opportunities to win a free or discounted mint for their upcoming Primordial collection.

In other news, planet minting for Phantom Galaxies is now open, Synergy of Serra is airdropping tokens to kickstart their marketplace launch, and Dark Country introduces a new, mutable game item called Soul Cards.
