Spam is pervasive and comes in many forms. It’s a problem. But is it getting worse?

To measure the spam problem, we partnered with QuestionPro to survey 1000+ people here in the US. We compared this data to the survey from last year to measure the size and shape of the spam problem in all channels:

  • Which social networks have the most spam?
  • How do most people respond to email spam?
  • How much text spam are we getting?
  • What percentage of our calls are cold calls?

You might be surprised at the depth of the problem.

As a bonus, we asked 7 legitimate marketing experts for their input. In the context of all of this spam, what should the legitimate marketer do?

The data in this report explains why the psychology of our potential customers is often so negative. How trust within the context of each channel is eroding. And what we should do to stand out amid the constant flow of unwelcomed noise…
