Gaming platforms, marketplace updates, and Soulbound Tokens dominate the web3 gaming news this week!

Welcome back to the 188th edition of the Play to Earn newsletter! This week we have a number of interesting developments in web3 gaming.

We said in our Games to watch in August article that gaming distribution platforms would be something to keep an eye on, and we were not wrong! HyperPlay, a relatively new entry to field, offers connections to Epic Games and GoG accounts and also includes integration with cryto wallets, providing a centralized access point for web3 gamers!

And speaking of Epic Games, they recently announced a partnership to bring the Gala Games portfolio onto their platform, starting with Town Star and Spider Tanks!

Souldbound tokens have become an increasingly popular way to track a user’s engagement with the game community and ecosystem. This week Wildcard launched their free to mint version, known as Wildfile. And MetalCore will soon allow minting of Chibis, somewhat exclusive Soulbound Tokens that will provide future benefits.

As for the marketplace, Voxie Tactics introduces their own, integrated marketplace, and Mega World allows the use of MEGA token on their internal market.

We also have a new beta phase from Phantom Galaxies, and the first beta playtest for Genesis League Goals!
