Healthy Productivity - The Elusive Holy Grail of Solopreneurship?

Every Friday, I share an insight about something I learnt that week.

This week, I’m getting some help on a topic that hasn’t been my strongest suit: healthy productivity.

Before you roll your eyes at YET another person on the internet talking about getting stuff done, hear me out.

A lot of what I‘ve seen online - and you‘ve probably noticed this, too - is geared towards squeezing more out of your day. But why squeeze and pressure yourself? I don’t want to do more and more by default. I do, however, want to fulfill my potential and create an impact in the world. And for that, you need to be productive.

Historically, healthy productivity has been a field of learning for me (what a euphemism!). I had to undo a lot of what I had absorbed from online business content and the hustle of the startup world to find a semblance of balance. It‘s been an imperfect journey, though, and I‘m still learning in this area.

So, instead of waffling, I thought I‘d bring somebody in who can help you and I understand what we can do to get things done in a mindful way.

Meet Today’s Expert: Jenny Champion, Founder of Bizzie

Four Very Practical Productivity Tips

Remember when we talked about finding the sweet spot between learning and doing a few weeks ago? Yeah, we’re bringing it up again because it’s just that important.

If you’ve reached the point where you’ve learned enough to get the ball rolling on whatever venture you’ve set your sights on, but haven’t actually done the thing yet, this week’s newsletter is written specifically for you.

In my personal (and client) experience, the longer you hang out in that “I’m sort of ready, but haven’t made any moves yet” space, the harder those first moves become–and the more likely you are to never make them at all. Womp womp.
