I love the idea of doing general daily readings to give those looking for inspiration for the day as far as how to navigate the energies.

For a long time, I was doing that on TikTok, but I have decided to stop doing daily general readings on TikTok for one main reason. And it is an unfortunate reason.

Unethical Tarot Readers Are Flooding TikTok

Here is the thing. There are a lot of excellent readers on TikTok, and I was recruited to The Tarot Bridge by one (I reached out to her).

However, I would say the number of excellent and ethical readers vs. the toxic and unethical readers is probably a ratio of one to five. Therefore, the toxic readers flood the decent ones out.

Yes, the toxic tarot readers are saturating the app. In the early days of the pandemic, it was an excellent opportunity to establish yourself as a tarot reader because it was not overly saturated.

However, today, that is a different story. Today, you will see plenty of toxic tarot readers say the following in their videos:

“If you landed on my video, then the Universe has guided you towards it because here is something you need to hear.” - I believe in synchronicities, but not when it comes to that. That is a manipulative way to coerce a viewer to fall for that.

“If you don’t watch to the end of this video, something bad will happen to you, OR you will lose out on something amazing.” - A decent tarot reader will never use any fear-mongering tactic to gain views.

“Are you ready to learn about your sealed fate? The cards will reveal that.” - Hell no, no, no, no. There is no “sealed fate,” let alone given by the cards.

You get the idea of why I do not want to be associated with any of these unethical tarot readers who will also give you unethical readings on their lives, such as telling viewers that their spouse is cheating or they will have a baby on a particular given date (yes, that has happened).

And you may be thinking that I should not allow these unethical readers to drive me out.

However, the truth is they saturate the app, and that is tarnishing the app’s reputation even more.

There are unethical metaphysical workers such as mediums, psychics, and Akashic Record readers on TikTok, too, who tell you that you have planned your trauma before your incarnation and vilify you if you tell them otherwise.

That is victim-blaming in a toxic spiritual bow. So now, I am moving my readings to the Substack app, as I do a general reading every weekday.

I Also Have Other Plans For My Publication

For the longest time, I was not sure what I would do with this publication, but now I know. In October (no date set yet), I will be launching a podcast, The Tarot Table, as I am preparing episodes now, and eventually, probably not until after the new year, I will have guests.

Secondly, I will share the meaning of all cards very soon, but in a more esoteric way. I will make the esoteric aspect of the cards premium, but everyone will access the general meaning of each card.

You probably think, “There is so much noise about that everywhere, and didn’t you already do it?”
