Niche Site Lady - Gossip from last week.

Hi there!

Last week was a busy week for me as I attended two in-person meetups here in the UK.

The first was a Birmingham event organised by Jason Mills from The Affiliate School. 

And the second was a casual get-together with some Mediavine bloggers in the beautiful city of Bath.

Thanks to Jason for putting on a fab event.

It was great to see some familiar faces like Carl Broadbent and Jamie IF as well as meeting some new people.

The drinks were flowing for five hours before we moved on to the next venue, resulting in a few shenanigans like:

• Large wine glasses filled to the brim with prosecco
• Being refused entry to a nightclub
• Sprinting away from Rolex-snatchers

But despite all this, I came away with a ton of extra knowledge and some actionable insights.

The event in Bath was much more subdued - just a couple of daytime drinks - but just as much fun. 

If you ever have the chance to meet with others in this business, I highly recommend that you do.

It's so valuable to speak with others who understand your business. 

I know that's not possible for everyone, and there are some great online events too.

Earlier this year, at Affiliate Gathering, I met someone that I gelled with so much, that we decided to start a business together.

We'll be launching a new niche site soon - and I'm excited to share some details with you.

It's quite different to how we've worked in the past!

What I've learned most from events like these,

Is that there are thousands of different ways to be successful.

Everyone has a unique way of working, 

And what works well for the next person may not suit you at all.

People are having great success with parasite SEO.

People are making a fortune from apps.

People are growing much faster with YouTube than their blogs.

That doesn't mean you should do any of these!

But it also doesn't mean that you should trudge on with doing what you've always done, especially if you're not seeing the results you want.

In my opinion, the best path is to observe what others are doing,

Try out a handful of things that most appeal to you,

And then go all-in on what works best for your own unique situation.
