Hey. Hey. Alex here one last time.

Many of you responded to my last email asking me specific questions about working with creators, how licensing works, what the process look like, and so on.

Because I’ve worked with Mini Social and been through the wringer - I figured I’d drop all the answers here for you.

1. Does Mini Social use software to find the creators?

Nope. They have a team dedicated to researching and finding the right creators for each brand.

2. Are macro-creators better than micro-creators? Or should I work one macro-creator vs. 25-50 micro-creators?

It’s different for every brand. A brand like Sephora will partner with a macro-creator because its entire goal is to drive awareness.

On the other hand is growth stage brands. Who needs every micro-influencer to deliver results. And that’s why many growth-stage brands work with micro-influencers over macro-influencers.

Also micro-influencers tend to have more engaged audiences, and they put an emphasis on higher-quality content.

3. What does the process look like for brands?

It’s fairly simple and quick.

Mini Social works with you on a campaign brief.

Their team takes this brief and finds the right micro influencer creators.

Then they invite them to participate in the campaign.

Once the cohort is developed, your team will ship product to the influencer.

Once the creator gets the product, they’ll shoot content and share it.

The mini social team will then share that content with your team.

4. Can I use this content forever?

Yupp. Every piece of content produced is full licenses user generated content.

Which means you can do whatever with it.

Hope that helps.

And if you’re looking to build up that user-generated content bank before the holidays then I recommend linking up with the mini social team ASAP.

Much love,

Alex Garcia
