#1 - The Black Friday "un-sale"

Everyone is throwing around discounts on Black Friday.

It's what works, right?

Not for Katelyn Bourgoin.

Instead of offering a discount, she's raising her product's price.

"Wait what?"

Yep, you read that right. Katelyn is using Black Friday's scarcity to raise her product's prices.

You can get it now for the current price or wait until after Black Friday when the price will increase by $50.

The whole point of giving away discounts is to give people an excuse to overcome their objections and buy.

Who said discounts are the only available excuse? A price increase could work too!

Another smart thing to do is to make clear on all your messaging that you are doing it 👇

#2 - Remove link descriptions on LinkedIn

If you are active on LK, you know there's this featured section where you can add a few links to your stuff (newsletter, products, etc).

Usually, the platform asks you to include a link + a description of said link.

The problem is that when you add a description, you get a link preview in a pop-up window, which adds one more click to the process (and friction) 👇

But, if you remove the description, the links of the Featured section become direct links 👇

This might sound small, but if you ask any conversion expert, you'll hear that the simpler the process is, the easier the conversion becomes.

Less clicks = more sales (or subscribers)

#3 - From social to email. Steal these CTAs

The folks at upwardnews do a great job at redirecting their followers to email.

Here's how 👇

1) Showcasing how you get "more" on email vs Instagram on their carousels

2) Or gating the content

It's a perfect example of how to hook people and redirect them to your email.

The best part is that they make it super easy to join.

You just need to comment "Join" and they'll send you an automated DM with a signup link.
