AI Content Challenge Update + This Week in Niche Pursuits News...

If you've been following Niche Pursuits for longer than 2 months, you'll know that I started an AI Content Challenge at the end of September.

I can hardly believe that it's already been 2 months!

In fact, I started 2 challenges.

First, I asked people to start a NEW site using AI content.

Second, I asked people that had an EXISTING site to try and grow organic traffic using AI Content.

And TODAY, I have the 2 month reports and leaderboard for the EXISTING site challenge!

Here's some highlights from this challenge:

• Started on 9/20/23
• 74 People started the challenge
• Person that GROWS their organic traffic from NEW AI articles (published after 9/20/23) wins $2,500
• Currently only 22 people still in the challenge
• Challenge ENDS 12/20/23

The current leader?

Well, someone reported that they got over 8,000 organic clicks to their beverage niche website.

However, after watching their video, I can see this number isn't accurate. They appear to be counting articles that were published BEFORE 9/20/23.

So, I'm not 100% sure who the leader is at the moment, but you can see the full reports and discussion right here.​

So, there's less than a month to go before a winner is crowned and awarded $2,500!

I'll verify the winner's results myself (via Google Analytics and GSC) to make sure everything is correct.

Phew...what a challenge!

Sports Illustrated Caught Using Fake Authors and Publishing AI Content

What happens when a major sports publication is outted for using fake authors and AI content?

Well, they immediately delete all the authors and the content of course!
