After every website redesign project, results are measured. At Orbit Media, we design 40-50 websites per year and I personally review the Analytics for every project.

I spend a lot of time reviewing GA4 with clients, measuring the marketing impact of the project, from the topline SEO impact (organic traffic) to the bottom line lead generation impact (conversion rates).


Every website is different. Different traffic sources, different marketing strategies, different goals and conversions. So every post-launch Analytics review is unique to that client.

But there are some reports I always run and questions I always ask myself.

  1. Is search traffic up or down?
  2. Do the pages have higher engagement rates?
  3. How are the visitors using the navigation menus?
  4. Are conversions up or down?
  5. Are visitors clicking on the CTAs?
