This Week at YC

We (very) recently opened a new office in San Francisco, and with a new office comes room for new traditions. The newest tradition? Bookface Launch Live.

Here’s the idea: every other Friday, a handful of YC founders get up in front of their batchmates to preview what they’ve built so far. It’s a very early/under-construction look at what we’ll see at Demo Day in a few months. Something you hear a lot around YC is that startups should launch “again and again”; this is a place for founders to get their first of many reps on that front.

This first one was only open to the current YC batch, but I’m personally hoping we get to expand that a bit in the future — because, well, it’s an awesome room to be in. Incredible builders presenting to an audience entirely made of incredible builders, peering into the future together and collaborating to get there even faster.
