2024 doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all in the world of web3 gaming! Game launches from Echoes of Empire and Synergy Land start off our news for the week. Though the genres are very different, both games have strategic aspects and both offer play and earn opportunities!

Animoca Brands is all over the news with new projects, events, and partnerships announced on a regular basis.

Play to Airdrop season is still going strong, and non-gaming related airdrops are launching at a quick pace as well, with tokens such as JUP, WEN, and many others given out to ecosystem users for free! It sure feels like the bull market is back, even if the token prices haven’t gone up as much as everyone had hoped!

But we do have some sad news to share this week. Synergy of Serra, a TCG style game with a somewhat unique strategy for deck building, has announced that they will be shutting down effective immediately. Lack of funding and a rift among the founders apparently killed the game.
