#1 - Bump offers

Maybe this one is obvious for seasoned marketers, but I had a 🤯 moment when I found out about Bump Offers.

What’s a bump offer you ask? 👇

I’ve always heard about upsells, but the main difference with bump offers is that these are offers shown to the customer BEFORE the checkout, not after.

The key to succeeding with bump offers is that they need to COMPLEMENT the main product.

And they need to be cheaper.

For example: if you sell a yoga course for $99, a potential bump offer could be a guided meditation audio that you sell for $9 before the checkout.

It's so simple, yet I haven’t seen it much in digital products.

#2 - Mining for content on post-subscribe surveys

Newsletter Post subscribe surveys are underrated.

You can usually find these surveys right after someone subscribes to your newsletter. If you have subscribed recently, you’ve likely taken mine.

Here’s what Mike from Hidden Levers asks their new subs 👇

#3 - Newsletter ➝ Social Loop

Most of us promote our newsletters by doing the following:

Write the email

↓

Share on Social

That's it.

But not for Josh Spector.

He takes it one step further, and what he does is insanely effective: He includes links to his tweets in every issue of his FTI newsletter.

This is how the loop works:

His current audience clicks on the link

↓

They engage with the tweet

↓

This boosts the content reach

↓

New audiences see it and join his newsletter with a carefully placed CTA

That’s it.

As a result of his current audience boosting his content, potential new audience members see it and join.

This creates the perfect newsletter growth loop between social media and his newsletter.
