Y Combinator - ⭐ These are YC's Top Companies

This Week at YC

May 5th, 2024

As Garry writes: revenue is the clearest indicator of a startup’s success.

With that in mind, we've just updated the YC Top Companies list for 2024, featuring the YC alumni with the highest revenue in the year prior (sorted alphabetically to keep confidential things confidential.)

Why make this list? Because we like to see it, and it turns out others do too. It's super inspiring to see just how many different kinds of companies get to claim a spot at the top. B2B makes up much of the list ... but there's also healthcare, and fintech, and real estate, and construction, and lots of consumer companies up there. When it comes to making something people want, there is no single right category.

Six new companies broke onto the list this year, the newest of which went through YC just 3 years ago. Want to know which company that is? Find that, and more stats, here.

👁️ Does Your Startup's Website Pass The First Impression Test?

When someone visits your website, you only have a few seconds to convince them it’s worth their time. How do you do that?

In this episode of Design Review, Aaron Epstein is joined by Zack Onisko, the former CEO of Dribbble, to look at startup websites and give their first impressions.
