I always get asked how I write these newsletters and make my videos.

It all starts with proper research.

And great research starts with greater tools.

Today - I’m gonna walk through the chrome plugins I use to help me create the content you consume.

Digital Writing Tools

Don’t worry, I’m not going to tell you how we use Chat-GPT to write this newsletter. (We don’t).

But we do use the following tools to speed up the writing and editing process.

Grammarly

We write grammatically incorrect on purpose.

It’s called: voice.

But that doesn’t mean we want stupid mistakes in this newsletter.

So Grammarly is always on and calling out typos or improvements.

Speechnotes

I always read my copy out loud.

Because writing should sound natural.

So when my ideas are flowing, I love to use voice notes to text, then synthesize them into the newsletter.

Because sometimes, my ideas flow best verbally.

And I convey them in a voice note first that gets transcribed and organized into text.

Keywords Everywhere

I want to see search traffic in my browser.

When I’m naturally researching - I can see how much search traffic the topic I’m looking at gets.

This is the beginning of creating well-optimized content that people care about.

YouTube Extensions

I can see the analytics of competitor videos of similar videos.

So when I publish, I can see the likelihood that the video is going to success and what needs to be changed to improve the odds of success.

Loom

Ever exported a video? Takes forever.

Please don’t export every draft of a video for review.
