One of the biggest news items this week in blockchain gaming is the integration of Hyperplay into Metamask. This integration lets users access web3 games directly from their Metamask interface, with over 40 titles already available! Making web3 gaming readily accessible to the millions of MetaMask users is a huge win for blockchain gaming!

The overall sentiment in web3 gaming is definitely positive. In fact, The Sandbox, one of the more ancient (relatively) presences in the web3 gaming space just announced a completed fundraising round worth $20 million, officially giving the company a valuation of $1 billion dollars!

Gaming token launches abound. Open Loot, an NFT marketplace with an increasing presence in the web3 gaming space, revealed plans for their token OPENLOOT. We also have upcoming (or recently completed) token launches from Bloodloop, Ultiverse, and Pirate Nation.

And gaming NFT mints are hot once again, often selling out in minutes! Recent successful NFT gaming mints include Mystery Boxes from Boss Fighters, Genesis Passports from Anomaly, and Founder’s Boxes from WorldShards.

The Ronin network has been in the news quite a bit with several headlines this week. You can earn free NFTs through the Ronin Carnival, earn RON tokens through Coinbase’s learn and earn program, and apply for a grant to build and create with the Ronin Forge!

There are a number of new launches this summer as well. Illuvium has given July 25th as their official launch date (and you can play to airdrop in their open beta right now!), while The Beacon has a new Frontiers Quests starting on June 25th. We also have launches for Adeliade’s Dice, Pixelmon: Monster Tycoon, and new weekly events from The Walking Dead: Empires. Just to name a few!

This merger of sites will also let us cover more tropics, such as the increasing number of web3 games integrated into Telegram. Hamster Kombat, one of the most popular, has already reached 100 million players and plans to launch their own token in July!!
