Turns out, the vast majority of their marketing efforts went to organic social media.

But when we analyzed the ROI for different marketing channels, we found that organic social delivered the worst results.

According to HubSpot’s State of Marketing Report, these are the most effective marketing channels for businesses in 2024:

  1. SEO: 16%
  2. Social media shopping tools: 16%
  3. Paid social: 14%
  4. Email marketing: 14%
  5. Content marketing: 14%
