We had big jumps in our audience when a novel coronavirus appeared and when Russia invaded Ukraine. We also anticipate big stories: We published a story on generative AI long before it became front-page news, looking at its stunning abilities and unique challenges.

One of those big topics is the future of work. Between the rise of large language models, the lingering changes caused by the pandemic and the rise of unionization, the issues are complex and multifaceted. We’ve compiled some of our best explanatory journalism into a new magazine-style e-book, ”The Future of Work: How work is changing, for better or worse, in the 21st Century,” which we’ll give to you free with any gift to support our work.

Another big topic is religion and how to live a better life. We’ve compiled some of our best work on this − written by authors who have dived into some texts you might have heard of and others you probably haven’t. These, too, we’ve compiled into an e-book for you to download, possibly print out, and reflect on.
