Regulation: In a significant move towards advancing corporate sustainability, the Science Based Targets Network (SBTN) has unveiled its latest suite of technical guidance and enabling materials. 

Research: Utility EDF Renewables and environmental management consultancy Nature Positive have partnered with Exeter University to conduct research on the ecological effects of solar farms.

Vibrant Planet, a US-based start-up,  raised $4.5Mn in Series B funding for their platform that provides real-time scenario planning, monitoring, and reporting for natural resource managers 

Bio-Logical, a Kenya-based start-up raised $1.3Mn in Seed funding for their process that turns agricultural waste into biochar, a long-lasting carbon-sequestering material, and mixes it with organic fertilizer, providing it to smallholder farmers in the region.
