Liz Klinger teamed up with Chloe Albert, a Forbes 30 Under 30 and cofounder of Medinas Health, which helps hospitals manage their inventory, to lend a hand during the coronavirus crisis. The two of them started Mask Match, a peer-to-peer project with the simple goal of connecting people or institutions who have extra masks to healthcare workers and hospitals who need them.

More Under 30 News

One company that has seen a remarkable rise in use, due to quarantined teenagers relying almost entirely on social media to keep in touch with old friends (or make new ones), is French social media platform Yubo, whose cofounders made the Forbes Under 30 list this year.

In December, Forbes Under 30 honoree Gustav Lundberg Toresson and Tobias Bengtsdahl launched the Swedish platform Memmo which aims to become Cameo’s European rival. So far, it has raised $2 million in seed funding, and signed on 800 (mostly Swedish) celebrities that have produced over 5000 videos.

The Last Word
